A dogged conservative-libertarian dad on an alternative education elist back in 2004, asserted that this voting-by-feelings effect was all WOMEN’s fault, due to the 19th amendment foolishly bringing all our messy emotionalism into politics, and that now we had “feminized” voting to the point that many men are doing it too. He was totally irrational of course . . .
