I sure do miss (Methodist) Betty, never more than when Christian Crazy needs sorting out.

If I get the Tea Party’s drift then, they claim all the conservative churches and schools, all the cities and states they consider “real” American, all the natural resources, federal courts and government including unilateral power over marriage, the military, the money, motherhood . . . and then everything else is banned, burned, dismantled or deported.
Mostly the money and power.

Why not urge more “government jobs?” They still pay the rent. But no. That would take an organized communication machine on the left. Maybe ours could be based on actual facts.

But that only gets part of the people there. We could do well in a unified nation of fact-based folks I think. Education was supposedly meant to create that reality. How’s that working out for us?
